The Villages Regional Hospital Expansion

Coastal Mechanical worked closely with The Robins & Morton Group to provide the mechanical and plumbing on this new 173,000 square foot hospital addition, which added three floors on top of an existing two story hospital, and renovating approximately 40,000 square feet of the existing facility.  A new Surgical Intensive Care Unit, imaging facility, cafeteria, cooling tower and renovation of the Central Energy Plant were also completed.  Pre-planning was critical.  Coordination between Coastal Mechanical, the General Contractor and the Hospital Staff assured there was no disruption of the operational facilities. The total team effort and coordination allowed patients to be brought into each new area as the work was completed.
