Safety & Training
The safety of our employees is our top priority. We know that our excellent safety record is the result of employee involvement. Through extensive employee safety training and by motivating our employees, accidents are minimized and avoided. Coastal Mechanical Services employs a full-time OSHA-500 Certified Safety Manager with an excellent working knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards, as well as extensive experience conducting Jobsite Inspections and providing Safety Training.
Monthly, Weekly and Daily Safety Inspections and a detailed Site Inspection are preformed to ensure that all safety requirements are being met. Coastal Mechanical Services’ Safety Manager additionally performs Mock-OSHA-Inspections at all jobsites.

Other Training offered to our employees includes On-the-Job-Training (OJT), Foreman Training, Journeyman Preparation, Project Management and Leadership Training.
All Florida Apprenticeship, GNJ (AFA)
Coastal Mechanical Services, LLC sponsors a fully indentured four-year apprenticeship programs in Sheet Metal, Pipefitting and Plumbing. These programs allow its employees to develop marketable skills to better their careers; and to build future leaders of our company. Among many other subjects, each program includes soft skill leadership training and education; including team work, criticism, communication, and conflict management.
AFA is registered with the Department of Education, Division of Workforce Education for State of Florida and Accredited by National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER).
